Severn Manor Estate
A Visit to Remember
Severn Manor is a large and beautiful English manor house with original period features, classic furnishings, and modern amenities that combine to provide a rich and lavish setting for your large family vacation and celebrations.
A private gated entrance leads to the front of the house, where views of the glorious Worcestershire landscape stretch for miles. Step inside the grand reception hall, and you'll feel very special because it has all the grandeur of a stately home: warm oak floors with wool rugs, deep red flock wallpaper, gilt-framed oil paintings, and a massive fireplace. That classic country house look pervades Severn Manor; it's like a baby Downton Abbey, all yours!
The Oak Room and the formal Drawing Room are off the reception hall, both with magnificent carved oak fireplaces; the Drawing Room has a baby grand piano, so tinkle the ivories after dinner, just like they did in Victorian times. A tiled inner hall leads to the main staircase, which is stunning in oak and wrought iron; look up and you'll notice the ornate ceiling mouldings, all of which contribute to the historic character of this lovely English country house.
The Snug is located next to the Drawing Room and has the same rich red hues as the Drawing Room, giving it the feel of a Victorian ‘Card Room.'
The Breakfast Room, with its view of the lovely garden, is the ideal place to start your day with coffee and croissants. This leads to the Formal Dining Room, which has double-aspect windows, garden views, and the feel of a stately home; a door leads to the Orangery, which opens onto the veranda and the south-facing terrace at the back of the house.
Straight ahead of the inner hall is the kitchen, and WOW, what a kitchen! The space is light and airy, with modern fitted units and a period chunky table and benches as the focal point. A laundry room and a WC are also located on the ground floor.
Six classically styled bedrooms and four very sophisticated bathrooms with freestanding baths and period furnishings are located on the first floor. Relax in a bubble bath before snuggling into a super-comfortable half tester bed for a restful night's sleep.
Sip tea in bed in the morning while admiring the breathtaking views.
On the first floor, there's also a large games room with a pool table, casino, and plenty of family games to play together; it leads through to a fully equipped cinema room, so stock up on popcorn and plan a family movie night.
On the top floor, there are two more bedrooms and a shower room; the West Wing Room is ideal for a family, with sleeping space for five, and the Harrow Room is ideal for older children/adults, sleeping three.
